These are so lovely. First they came in a HUUUUGE box, which was a great surprise for my Mum. They are really long, and once unpacked, delightful. They sound like London on a sunday morning. They sound so AMAZINGLY like the Westminster bells ringing....they made my Mum Cry. They are just lovely, and this is a great price on these. I have the larger (and much more expensive) Windsinger Chimes of Orpheus, which also sound fabulous. But, the Windsingers take a lot more wind to chime, and these Westminster chimes ring much more often. The nicest set of chimes we have, no question about it, and we've got 7 sets of Woodstocks hanging around the house.

Until I received these as a gift, I only had smaller chimes (Woodstock + others) and now I understand the power of larger, more expensive chimes. These chimes are silver with light wood accents and are generous at 58" long, but quite narrow in diameter.
We have these Westminster Chimes on our lanai, as well as a set of Chimes of Neptune, and the two are a lovely pair. The Westminster chimes are loud, clear, and very much like a church-bell. I wouldn't say they are low (the Neptune Chimes are much lower), but they have a full rich sound. They also chime liberally- not enough to make your neighbors hate you, but enough that the smallest of breezes will move them so soft chimes become the background music to your day. They ring often and beautifully.

I received this item quickly and in good condition. They fit nicely on my newly decorated front porch. I have a fan on them, as they are a little heavy for the wind from my windows. They move better outside with the breeze. They sound great and people have said that they sound like church bells. That's the sound I was looking for. I think that you will be very happy with these windchimes, should you decide to purchase them. ENJOY !!

I got these for my wife for christmas, and she loved them! They have a nice low tone that you can only get with big chimes. This is my third set of chimes made by this same manufacturer, and all of them have been great and they all sound excellent. These are the best chimes you can get for the money.
