Decent magazine rack Mar 03, 2010
By Destiver I bought this for our guest bathroom. I was tired of the magazines rolled up in the metal rack sitting on the floor. This rack proudly displays the magazines in a way that allows you to actually SEE what the titles are. The slots are wide enough for a normal sized magazine and the top slot holds slightly wider ones. The item is a little heavy and only has two mounting holes. I think I would have put 4 on it but if you choose to do so the material looks like it could be drilled out to create them. I used my own mounting hardware the stuff that came with it made me nervous. My only actual complaint I have is that the wood/laminate used on the front of the rack does not quite match the sides. However I can be ultra picky, I think most people wouldn't mind. The price was excellent, and if I had it to do over again I think the item is worth the price I paid and I would buy it again.

Solid, Very easy to install, Looks great. Jan 17, 2012
By Becky Hardware needed to install was included. Comes pre-assembled with screw holes re-drilled, so all you have to do is just screw it to the wall.
Attaches with 2 screws (sheetrock anchors included in the package). Also included are 2 plastic caps that match the color of the rack so that the screws remain concealed.
Bottom 3 slots hold 3/4 inch stack of magazines comfortably. By comfortably, I mean that you can easily slide magazines in/out.
Top slot is much wider at the mouth (i.e, top of the slot), but it does taper towards the bottom. So you CAN get more magazines in the top slot, but keep in mind that anything over a 3/4 inch stack might look like magazines are spilling out the top. But again, there is more space in the top slot. So if you have a large item, like a thick catalog, you could still put it in the top slot, but it just might not slide down to the bottom of the top slot.
All slot openings are roughly 9 inches wide. All slot openings are roughly 8 inches deep. (So your magazine needs to be over 8 inches tall to see it!) Top slot opening is 3 inches front-to-back at the mouth, tapering down to estimated 3/4 inches at the bottom of the slot. Remaining three slots seem to have the same distance front-to-back at the mouth and at the bottom, which is roughly 3/4 inches.
Only complaint, which is why I gave it 4 stars, is that for the first couple of days, there was a distinct odor of glue or something. We've had it for a couple of months & it's been fine now.

thank goodness for magazine racks! Aug 06, 2010
By suma As part of the dentist office redecoration I did recently, they requested help with their magazine problem. They were being kept in magazine holders on the floor and were a mess! These racks hold more than they appear to be able and are of great quality. They were easy to hang, are not obtrusive and look awesome with their decor.
great rack Feb 23, 2012
By James D. Chadwick The perfect size both for the space I have and to hold a good collection of magazines. Easy to hang on the wall, all the parts included. Sturdy construction, reasonably priced, shipped quickly.
Excellent de-cluttering for my house! Feb 16, 2012
By patti olsen I had to get a nice magazine rack for all the mail in my house! This helps me to keep it organized. It is very solid, was easy to put up and helps my family keep what they want to keep and recycle the rest.
