 Great stool, especially for the slightly heavier than average. Feb 08, 2008

"Just a consumer"
We used to have a Cosco stool that was rated at 200 pounds. I never really felt secure on it, especially when painting ceilings, etc. This Werner is much sturdier and I feel very safe on it. It is somewhat heavier than the Cosco, but it has to be in order to provide better stability. It is constructed very well and the lockout feature is a very good idea.

Good product and very solid, especially for the price. Only con (if it is a con) is that it takes some effort to collapse. This however is due to its solid support. Hard to have your cake and eat it too I would suppose.

I love this step stool! I make sure the latch is all the way down before I get on it, and it's rock-solid. I'm in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy, and have no problem hopping up on it. I also love that the rubbery grip on the handle enables me to lean it against the pantry wall when not in use, and the grip keeps the wall & paint undamaged.

I actually got my sister this for Christmas lol. My sister is really short and I noticed she had trouble reaching the top bar in her closet. She told me she would either stand on her tip toes to reach a hanger, and if that didn't work, she would put on a high pair of shoes. She told me she loves this thing and it's really easy now to reach some of her clothes. It's nice because it folds, so when she's not using it, it doesn't take up much room. Plus, it's really sturdy, so she doesn't have to worry about falling over when trying to reach for something. I highly recommend this product if you need something to boost you up. It's a great price. I shopped around at stores like Target and Walmart before ordering this, and everything they offered was of lesser quality and about 10-20 dollars more.
