You ain't seen nothing, yet! Sep 24, 2008
By Obsessive shopper A fine showerhead. Better than any other handheld model at this price. As other reviewers noted, it's easy to install and it works well. Besides, it has a lifetime guarantee. That says a lot about how committed Waterpik is to quality.
That said, UPGRADE TO A DIFFERENT MODEL! I know, this one is a great value, but I also have the six-setting chrome version installed in another bathroom, and it's EVEN BETTER. The water feels even stronger in the upgraded model, the cosmetics are better, the fittings are more solid, the additional settings are nice, and it's still just as easy to install and still has the lifetime guarantee, all for just $20 more. That's twenty extra dollars for a lifetime of better showers. I wonder if the top-of-the-line models are better still.
Although I recommend moving up the product line, don't get me wrong, I am very satisfied with this showerhead. The only real criticism I can make is that the fittings are very cheap and, though water tight, end up a little crooked, off-center, or gapped.
Here's the best feature of the Waterpik that I don't know if you can find on other showerheads -- the 2.5 gallon-per-minute can be easily removed (instructions are included in the packaging). That's a real blessing for those of us that have inadequate water pressure. Also, the "water-saving" or "center spray" settings seem to aerate the water to create the sensation of stronger pressure. You can pay twice this price for a standard showerhead that does that alone (i.e., the Oxygenics).

The Best I've Owned Jun 18, 2006
By W. Marler I've had this for four years now. But A pipeline repair that put dirt in the line and clogged the holes has forced me to replace it. I purchased another more expensive brand at a local store and the force of the spray is very weak in comparison. So I'm buying another one of these at Amazon. This baby really blasts the water - if you want it to. The massage setting is really great. I've had no problems with the swivel mount. It's been 100% trouble free. A great bargain.
2012 Edit Update: It's been 6 years now and this shower head still works great.

It's Rainforest effect earns 5 stars in it's price range Nov 28, 2007
By L. Watson Don't let it's plain looks fool you! I'd never owned a waterpik before picking this one up. But I've been impressed...!
I wasn't even shopping for a showerhead that day, but just happened to see the isle display in Wal-Mart, and it reminded me that the one we've had for a while had gotten progressively worse. The design of the old shower head had little rubber plugs that the water flowed through, and those little rubber bits break off when you're giving it a good disinfectant cleaning. The plugs affect the flow and direction of the water, so it's an erratic splatter once the plugs have broken away.
Unhappy with that effect, I examined all the display from expensive to cheap shower heads. There were only a few designs, and I was taken aback at how many had that eventual problematic rubber plug design. With very few choices in the mid range, I opted for the simplest Waterpik model with 4 settings and a 5 foot hose. If you're looking for a pounding water massage on your shoulders, then this might not be the one for you. But if you prefer the rain shower effect, and need one quick, then this one is worth a try! Good job Waterpik!

Waterpik Shower Head Jun 04, 2009
By Rusty Positives: Decent flow and pressure; relatively inexpensive.
Negatives: Made of cheap plastic that feels cheap too; adjustment ring is so loose it feels like it's broken; no mark indicator on adjustment ring; leaks at the ball swivel joint when repositioned.
Summary: I would not buy this again. I would return it, but I destroyed the clear hard plastic packaging that it comes in...the only way to get it out. It has a life time warranty, but I doubt it will last one hard drop on the floor.

very nice Oct 24, 2008
By Harry R. Moberley the handheld shower is a very nicely made product...my only flaw is that even with the restrictors removed, it does not produce a strong flow...but it is ample and i will get used to it..
