Water Filter Faucet is First Class Apr 17, 2011
By Canada Dog Lover

I ordered this tap expecting it to be just OK, but I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality finish. The brushed nickel matches my other stainless steel tap perfectly.
The installation of the tap was a breeze and hooking it up to my exiting water filtration system just required me to get an adapter to take the 1/4" size on the tap up to a 3/8" size on the water line.
Operation of the tap is silky smooth as the handle rotates quite nicely. And the faucet head does rotate back and forth to the best position in the sink. I like the high arch as it makes filling kettles and water bottles more convenient.
I would recommend this tap to anyone looking to replace the usual dinky taps that are supplied in water filtration kits.
Oh I need to plug the amazon store vendor who shipped the product the same day and I received it in Canada in exactly one week which is amazing.

Good value for the price Nov 13, 2011
By JJ After shopping around for water taps, this was by far the most affordable one that had the styling we were after. After using it for a few months, I'm quite pleased with it. Be aware, however, that it is not made of solid metal - while the exterior is metal, the "guts" are made of plastic and the spigot neck feels a little flimsy.
That being said, I'm pleased and would buy this again.
Update 02/23/2012: The tap seems to be holding up after about 8 months of use. However, we've confirmed that tap is mostly made out of plastic with a "satin nickel"-look coating (ie, paint). I accidentally brushed the spigot with a kitchen knife while doing the dishes and scratched the coating, revealing unsightly white plastic underneath. Still functions fine, but looks a bit cheap. Will probably replace with a solid metal tap when the time comes. Still think this tap is a good value, but you get what you pay for.

Excellent fit, finish and function Jan 29, 2011

I, too, bought this faucet to replace another for my reverse osmosis system when I had granite counters installed. This was the closest style and finish to the new kitchen faucet online or in a store so I ordered it based on the online picture! It arrived quickly, is made of quality components and looks great. Check out the manufacturer's site for finish options- I believe you'll see they recommend the nickel finish (the one I chose) over stainless if you are trying to match to a stainless sink. The nickel goes quite well. I had a plumber install due to the complexity of reconnecting all the drains, etc, due to the new sink and he had no problems. We've used it multiple times a day for about 2 months and I am still very satisfied.

Just what we ordered Nov 09, 2010
By SC Transplant We were looking for a companion to our elegant new granite counter top and high rise Moen kitchen faucet. The European style brushed nickel filter purifier faucet was perfect. It was shipped quickly and arrived in time in a well packed container. Would rate it 5 stars. Perfect match and exactly as described.

Very nice Feb 07, 2012
By dallas7 This is a good-looking faucet that comes in well below the price point of similar types without compromising appearance and feel. Judging from the other reviews here, reliability can be expected as well.
Taking it outside in daylight I cannot tell the finish apart from the brushed nickel Sanibel faucet I purchased along with it. Oddly, Sanibel does not offer a dispenser faucet that I can find at any price. And it would probably cost a lot more.
The inlet is a 3" plated metal tube threaded as 1/4" compression or "comp." It is not IPS/MIP or any one of a dizzying number of the nylon/poly variety (Jaco, Jeak, TiteGrip, Murlock, JG, etc. etc. etc.). This is a good thing as there are a near-infinite variety of brass or plastic fittings that can adapt this faucet's comp inlet to your downstream device. It comes with the bits and pieces to adapt it to the 1/4" tubing the seller references in the description. Otherwise, the supply line normally sold as as a "water connector" for refrigerator ice makers is the default feed for this class of inlet - it'll be a stainless steel or nylon/poly braided hose with 1/4" comp fitting (a free-spinning nut) on each end. Lengths run from two to twenty feet.
This mounts in a 1/2" hole and comes with an adapter for mounting in that 1.5" accessory hole found in four and five hole sinks.
