Knives rust Jan 31, 2004
This is a beautiful set, but the knives get rust marks on the blades.

Superb Value Sep 21, 2007

I bought this set because I wanted a classic, beaded design and found this set to be comparable to a Williams Sonoma set (also 18/10) that was priced 3 times higher. I've now had this service for 12 for over 3 years and it still looks great. It complements my fine Wedgwood china as well as my everyday. The Continental sizing is a plus, and the weight and feel of the pieces are excellent. I haven't experienced any of the pitting or rust problems others have, perhaps it has something to do with water quality or detergent?

Wallace Stainless Steel Continental Bead Flatware Sep 07, 2005
By homemaker The spoons and forks are heavy--great quality. The knives however, spot and rust immediately.

My Opnion Sep 16, 2005
By B. Bracker The weight, balance and quality of this set is outstanding and what one would expect from wallace silversmith. If I were looking for a flaw it would be that the dinner fork and soup spoon are oversized.

Best flatwear I have ever owned Nov 25, 2008
By Jon Gilbert I have owned this set four years now. I find knives in the yard and spoons in sand box and am missing several pieces. I have never seen any rust on any of my knives and they have been abused ( kids and grand kids ). The weight of the pieces are hefty and feel substantial in the hand. The length of the dinner forks are great ( longer than most ) and the knife blade is very wide. I did a special search to find this exact set again. My wife and I are 50 yrs old and we have been through a few sets of inferior flatware. These are quite the opposite.
