kinda cruddy Jul 07, 2011
By William A. Soldwisch line doesn't feed like it says it will and is even harder to re-feed because there are 2 lines one needs to fix. complete pain. takes forever to get the job done because one is constantly dealing with the bad design. also, replacement spool is hard to find at stores.

Terrible line and autofeed design May 12, 2012
By Darryl Webber UPDATE: Shakespeare Ugly line to the rescue. I put in a single line of 0.080 inch ugly line which transformed it into a descent weed wacker. The stock cutter will not trim the line, so cut it to length before starting. 5/18/12 ------------------------ Worst lawn equipment I've used in 30 years. Line is wound too tight on the spool so that it will not feed. unwinding and rewinding the spool helps, but makes it difficult to reassemble. Line breaks off in chunks. Spent an hour and a half trimming 25 feet of wooden fence and used half a spool of line. Avoid! The Worx line shape is partially to blame for the lack of autofeed (it snags on itself).

Piece of Junk May 22, 2010

This is my first and last Worx product - thankfully it was a gift, so I'm not out $70. Biggest criticism is the automatic feed system (AFS) - it simply does not work. I had to uncap the spool and dig out more line EVERY time. Trimmer works find when level, but the trimmer or edger at any angle, and the "guide wheels" start to get in the way. "Edger, trimmer, this angle, that angle, bells, whistles..." - note for Worx: you spent too much time on bells and whistles, and not enough time on the fundamentals. Note for prospective buyers: don't waste your money.

Awful, avoid it like the plague Dec 15, 2009
By John K. Gordon I got this as a gift along with a hedge clipper and a blower. It's very poorly put together, awkward to use, and it does both the job of weed-eating and edging poorly. It's difficult to change the string too. Any standard trimmer would be a vast improvement.

Worx WG112 - great little trimmer Sep 11, 2008

The Worx WG112 is a great little trimmer ... for a small area, anyway. I have a small yard and need to trim around 3 flower beds / garden areas and around my steps. This trimmer is perfect for that small area. No gas engine, so it's very quiet. And it's cheap! I couldn't find replacement line spools for it at amazon, but Sears has them for less than $5. So, if you have a small area to keep trimmed, get the WG112.
