Good idea, bad design Aug 16, 2009

The idea is good, but then the design doesn't live up to it. It is supposed to keep your sponge etc. out of the way, but it will only fit on the center of the sink divider, therefore it is VERY MUCH ON THE WAY. Second, it is supposed to keep it dry, but the draining holes are only in the center, and the bottom is higher in the center, therefore YOUR SPONGE IS ALWAYS SITTING ON LIQUID. I live in the desert (Arizona) under extremely dry conditions and it takes a full day to dry!

I have been using this caddy for a while now, and really have no issues with it. It sits on the sink divider and holds my sponges securely. It is pretty stable and rinses out very easily. The only improvement that I would suggest will be to put more drain holes in the bottom (instead of the four it currently has in the center) to facilitate faster drainage. Other than that it is worth the money and keeps your counter clutter free and dry. I do recommend this product.

Good design for my purpose. I just wish it's a bit softer so that it could conform to my sink's divider's form. The material used is a bit stiffer than what you would think this should be made of. If it's soft silicone it would have been perfect and I would have given it 5 stars. Unfortunately it's a bit stiff and doesn't conform to where it's hanging and doesn't hold it's sitting position either.

Love it. Keeps sponges from getting smelly as there are air holes in it to keep them fresh. The Umbra sink caddy is well worth using.

I saw this at someone elses house and had to have it. It works great for holding sponges or drain guards. It has a whole in the bottom so that water can properly drain out. Nice product.
