I just set up a Keurig single cup coffee maker in my office and needed something small to place nearby for the coffee making amenities trash. Just what I needed.

Umbra Mini Recycled Waste Can Nov 30, 2011
By Mary I purchased this item to sit next to my recliner somewhat hidden in a small space. The round container fits nicely into the small space. Be aware that although it says "mini" it is NOT a tabletop trashcan. It is about 13" high. I knew this when I purchased it from the product description. Perfect for my needs next to the chair. I love the flip lid so I don't have to see the trash. The reason for the lower stars is that the lid sits on top of the can. This is a problem for me because if you don't push the lid just right, the entire lid slips and causes the lid to turn sideways in the can. This happens quite often for me. I use a plastic grocery bag in it and that helps some. I also purchase another in silver and put in the bathroom. I haven't had the lid problem with that one. It's a nice can. Just don't his the lid to hard.

Cute little thing Jun 25, 2011
By Pennypincher This small dustbin will perfectly fit in your bathroom or under the counter for kitchen. The plastic is of good quality - not easily breakable. I was about to give this 5 stars but I was little unhappy by the lid. I ordered 2 dustbins and 1 of them the lid did not fit initially easily. However with trash can liner (I use my grocery bags because they are perfect size), it was perfect. Also it is so handy that I did not want to return the product.
If you are looking for small bin, this is perfect.

Don't buy this trash can!! Mar 18, 2011
By celestial I cannot believe when I received the item. This 20 dollar trash is not only so cheap and small---the cover easily falls off and the edge (where connects the cover and the body) is very sharp--easy to hurt people! I returned the item and got a much nicer trash can at a lower price.

perfect for composting Sep 26, 2010
By Lynn I've kept one of these inexpensive little gems next to my kitchen sink for over 15 years. We use it as a first step in our composting process. We empty it every 3 or 4 days into a bigger one in the garage before taking it all out to the pile in the garden.
My last one lasted about 8 years and then it got a crack. I'm so happy to have found another one! It looks great (all my appliances are black) and is a fraction of the price of the ones found in catalogs.
