I have never been passionate about a candle before. But for over 10 years I have been chasing Trapp candles down and buying as many as I can when I find them. How delighted I was to see that Amazon has been making them readily available. The richness and purity of the scents is par none. The finest rich parfum goes into every Trapp votive, and once you revel in their scent, you will know the quality of their workmanship. They use lead-free wicks and a blend of fully refined paraffin and soy wax for an optimal burn time of 20 hours for votives and up to 50 hours for their large poured candles.
The scent is also long-lasting. I have kept unburned candle (No. 4 Orange-Vanilla) next to my bedside for over a year and it still sends me off to blissful dreams with its warm summery scent (think creamsicles and sunshine). Every room has it's own scent. I love the Sweet Honeysuckle (No. 33) in the kitchen... a crisp, clean, sweet scent, without being overly floral or the luscious No. 12 Guava Mango. And for gathering areas, I recommend the No. 14 Mediterranean Fig: warm, plush, and intriguing.
But don't stop there. Trapp offers about 30 different scents that you'll soon want to make your own.
