quit working after two months--UPDATED SOLVED Mar 12, 2010
By T. Grimm Until then it was great except it dispensed too much soap even on the lowest season. It now makes no sound at all. New batteries are no help. It should last longer than that. It was very handy. We will miss it, but no point in buying a replacement every few months.
UPDATE: Had to increase my rating and follow up with this info. It was kind of soapy in the battery compartment. So, I took them out and rinsed the battery tray and the batteries. I then "splash" rinsed where the tray slides into and wiped that area dry. AND, I rinsed the soap reservoir several times. Then, I laid it all out on a towel and let it dry for a few days. I thought it would not work and I would just throw it away. But, it surprised me and worked fine.
After a few weeks my wife OVERFILLED the reservoir and we had to do the whole procedure again. It worked again. So, just avoid overfilling it. And, if this happens to yours, you now know how to fix it.

Great Dispenser Nov 06, 2009
By T. Altier
"T."
This is a great dispenser. It has a screen on top that shows you battery life, amount of soap that is in it and has 4 levels to choose from for the amount of soap you want dispensed. Other dispensers I have looked at only have an adjustment for the amount of soap that comes out and cost as much if not more than this one. With the cold and flu season here it is one way to keep from spreading germs. I have mine in the bathroom but am going to order another for my kitchen and some as christmas gifts.

This is a great product. Bought it for my kitchen and it eliminates the soap problem that I was having. No dripping, no waste, no mess. Just the best.

Drips if filled to recommended level Jul 11, 2010
By yet another alias Using standard dish soap it will drip quite a bit as it siphons off the soap tank if you fill it higher than the dispenser nozzle outlet. Unfortunately the fill line is over this point, so if you follow the filling recommendations it will drip. Just keep the max fill level about 3/4in below the line and you'll be ok.
Battery level isn't accurate. It will be all-bars on the display for months, sometimes fluctuating down by one bar, then suddenly the batteries are dead.
Soap level isn't accurate. Pretty much the same issue as with the battery level. No matter, just squirt more in it when it stops pumping.
Careful what you wish for - it doesn't care if you meant to ask for soap or not. It will happily squirt soap all over your steak if you happen to accidentally wave your plate under the dispenser. There's no delay or warning, just buzz..squirt..ruined steak :)

Very Pleased Overall Jul 03, 2010
By S.L. This dispenser works exactly as advertised. My only very minor complaint is that it dispenses a little bit more liquid soap than I want, even on the lowest setting. I'd like the lowest setting for the amount dispensed to be even lower. But overall, I'm very, very pleased with it.
