I bought this grill for a fathers day gift for my husband from the kids, wow did he LOVE it, got the matching tools and grill cover from the Tool Box Grill Company.
Best buy I ever made, he takes it to every football game.
It's just right.
Great quality and value!

I meant to buy the gas version, but so glad I ended up with the charcoal instead. It cooks perfectly with little attention, traps in the juices and a big smokey flavor, and it's cute to boot. Heats up very quickly, cooks a perfect amount for 3 people.

1. Some assembly required.
2. "Fit and Finish" sub-par.
3. Pre-installed hardware was not securely attached, creating a potential safety hazard.
4. One of two latches broke on first use.
I once owned a Hasty-Bake Portable Stainless Charcoal Grill, which was a pleasure to own and operate. After experiencing the Tool Box Grill I am reminded that you get what you pay for.

"Reluctant consumer"
The first one came with a broken lid hinge, missing parts and too many problems to note. Amazon replaced it with no problem and the second one has been great. We use this as our main grill until we can afford a bigger one. Then, it will be used just what it's made for - taking everywhere. I would like the grill to be easier to fit into the box, but overall I really like it. Handle gets too hot to carry once its been going, so a glove is good to take with it.

My husband was very happy with the toolbox grill. He has been searching for one for quite awhile now. We were happy with the service also in getting the product out so quickly. We use it when we go camping. It is just the right size and we have already used it several times.
