Great little computer desk, especially for the price! Dec 19, 2008

This is a great little computer desk, especially for the price. Easy to read instructions and easy to assemble. I do recommend that when you install the bolts through the metal tubes that you add washers to increase the stability and improve the strength of the desk. The Shelves are perfect size for computer components. Top shelf is much better made for a flat screen monitor. This is a great little desk!
Just an update... It's been nearly 3 years and this little desk is going strong with several hours a day of use. Wish everything lasted this long. If this is the size desk you want buy this without hesitation.

Very pleased May 04, 2009
By Romulo Osio My wife and I just moved and our new office was smaller then the last. Our old computer desks would have been a tight fit so we needed something smaller that was both cheap and sturdy. These desks fit the bill nicely and look good to boot. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone, regardless if they needed to save space or not.

Quality Compact Desk May 28, 2009
By Scott E. Brown The desk is very functional and offers a lot for its size. I can fit my laptop and my desktops LCD monitor with ample room leftover to take care of bills and paperwork on. It is designed so that you can mount the desktop computer stand on either side, as well as the printer stand. It was very simple to assemble, and included all required parts/tools with spares just in case. I was a little worried about the juvenile label on it when i ordered it, but I am glad i took the chance because it fits an adult well also. I'm 6'1" and have plenty of legroom. This desk is perfect for a smaller sized room/office.

Best desk ever! Feb 05, 2011
By Brett My wife and I have been looking for a desk for several weeks. I had previously owned an expensive four-hundred dollar high-quality desk made by Bush which finally fizzled out while moving from city to city over the past few years. Our new apartment was pretty small, and we needed to maximize space while still having enough room for our 25" monitors.
These desks were amazing! They don't appear to be juvenile at all. In fact, I couldn't find the word juvenile on the box--very odd. They certainly seem like they were designed for adults in mind. I'm 6' 2" and my wife is 5' 4" and neither of us have a problem using the included keyboard tray which sits about 27" from the floor. The desk top itself sits at 30.5" off the floor.
The color of the wood isn't cherry, but that didn't matter to us. Frankly, it looks like the picture. The quality of the wood is awesome even if it is not real wood. Both desks came perfectly packed and weren't damaged at all. Assembly probably took us an hour or more working together to assemble both desks. They went together pretty easily and end up being very tight and sturdy. Incidentally, they so totally beat all of the big name office stores for sturdiness/quality--even compared to the two-hundred dollar price range. It is the sort of desk I wouldn't be afraid to sit on or lean against!
The four feet are somewhat adjustable if your floor is uneven, and while we didn't need them, they are a great touch. The CPU holder also has two adjustable feet to assist in holding the CPU off the floor. Personally, I can't see the usefulness of a CPU holder, but its included.
The actual surface of the top of the desk is about 30.5" wide by about 19.5" deep. The keyboard tray is about 25.5" wide by 11.5" deep.
The kit includes extra screws/parts just in case. A phillips screw driver is also included. A detailed English/Spanish manual is included. It sports some good pictures and isn't written in Engrish. I can't read Spanish, so I can't comment on that.
Overall, we're extremely happy! Couldn't be a better value, especially with Amazon Prime!

Good compact desk Feb 22, 2011
By Lee Abraham Good compact desk, perfectly fine for an adult.
Assembly: Very easy to put together. Took maybe 30 minutes, and that was going really slowly. There were a couple of screws that took a bit of force to get started, but other than that it went together fine.
Finish: Mine came in good condition, no marks or problems. The cherry color is a bit lighter than it appeared in the picture. This is a budget desk, and the finish won't impress, but it's decent.
In use: It's quite sturdy and solid. It doesn't rock or feel like it could be knocked over easily. I am 6' tall and have a couple of inches to spare underneath the keyboard tray. The only issue is that the shelves are a bit too small. The CPU shelf has room for about an 8" width x 18" length computer, not big enough for my rather large desktop. Still should fit most everyday computer. My gaming keyboard takes up most of the tray, and the side shelf is too small for my printer.
It is a great desk, and you can't beat the price. Very happy with it.
