When you search Amazon for "divided laundry hamper" one of the choices you get is this hamper. Good looking, yes, but NOT divided. It's one canvas bag with a frame on top that's divided, but the space below is not divided.

I just did over my bathroom with dark woods. This hamper looks awesome. It is very big and heavy. It is much bigger than the normal hamper I had in there. Make sure you take measurements before you order it.
Overall, I am very pleased with it.

Yes, this is not a divided hamper but who cares, its easy enough to sort laundry and having this great style is more than worth it. The hamper is very well made, comes fully assembled and I love that the hinges hold up the lid just right as you are getting out clothes. It holds a lot more clothes than I expected, very happy with this.

I bought this for my wife, and she loved it - in fact, as soon as I unboxed it, and put it in the bedroom she went about trying to fill it up.
The thing is solid! The spring loaded door on top keeps my little one from smashing his fingers in it. It has a handle (note, not a divider) that makes pulling the laundry bag out a breeze, even when extremely full. Unfortunately it is this handle that keeps it from getting the full 5 stars. It's a hair loose, I can feel some give to it. I don't think it will make any difference, but it is a minor blemish, and enough to prevent the full 5 stars.
It is a very dark color, darker than the picture implies.

When I received this, I was amazed at how heavy the box was, which I discovered was due to the construction of this laundry hamper. It is truly the most solidly constructed hamper I've ever owned or seen. If I ever needed an available place to lean on or even sit while changing footwear, I'd have no fear about this piece of furniture being able to support my weight. Beyond the construction, it is a good size overall, fits in perfectly with the masculine look of a guy's bedroom and even matches the finish almost exactly of my dark contemporary furniture. The only negatives I can think of so far would be, a section of trim around the hamper is not smoothly finished on top, which is far from a major issue, just odd due to the rest of it is completely finished. Other than that, I don't mind this but some people may, due to the solid wood construction, it truly is heavy for a hamper, if that could be a problem for anyone. Shipping was much faster than I expected and it was protected very well by its packaging it arrived in.
