think wooden hangers instead Mar 27, 2008
By Matthew G. Sherwin HPI Homz Closet makes plastic clothing hangers to protect your clothing while it hangs in your closet, waiting for you to wear it.
On the bright side, these hangers are much less expensive than wooden hangers--and that's an obvious plus! They can be bought in bulk and that's economical.
However, these hangers have a feature that I DON'T like. They are flimsy and just not strong enough to hold heavier clothing even just for a day or two. Sure, you can use these to hang up tee shirts, regular shirts and maybe a few ties--but that's about it. I consistently find that when I use the bar to hang jeans, trousers and slacks the plastic bar of the hanger sooner or later bends downward, allowing my clothing to wrinkle. Not good! I definitely would NOT hang a man's or woman's suit on this hanger. It just won't keep the natural shape of the suit.
These hangers are best suited for my light weight clothing and not anything heavy. In addition, these hangers are not wide enough for X-Large or XX-Large shirts. The extra large clothing will hang down and maybe even fall off the hanger! That's another minus.
Overall, these make good hangers for shirts, ties, ladies blouses, and other lighter weight clothing. If you want a bar on the hanger to truly stand up over time get wooden hangers instead.
Sorry, folks!
Three stars.

Ok quality. Oct 28, 2007

The price on these are great. Of course, when you add in shipping charges they do get a little more expensive.
For those that know plastic hangers, these are not the bigger, thicker, more sturdy type - they are on the smaller end of thickness. You can bend them by hand with little effort. So I would suggest if you are going to hang heavy garmets on them, then you might want to find a "thicker" hanger.
They work just fine for shirts and other lighter weight items.

Awesome Mar 25, 2007
By Taliaris These hangers are in better condition than I thought they would be in for the price. They are very sturdy.
The service was great as well. Arrived promptly.

For the money... Jun 19, 2010

"free hugs available!"
If you're looking for cheap hangers, these are your best bet ... sturdy enough for hanging T-shirts and lightweight sweatshirts/hoodies, but I wouldn't count on them to hold heavier jackets/coats etc. However, my only complaint is that I ordered 4 sets of 10 hangers and received 2 sets of hangers with hooks and 2 sets of hangers without hooks ... I would have appreciated getting 4 sets of hangers all of the same type! But for the money ... they're worth it, although the shipping is expensive!

Decent quality hanger Apr 22, 2012
By Operandi Pretty good hanger, decently strong though they could be a bit better in that regard, I don't see it being a big problem. The biggest thing I probably have against them is that they have a bit of plastic around the entire hanger that is left from the manufacturing process which makes them feel cheap and bit uncomfortable.
