great product for lefties Sep 15, 2007
By D. Rasmussen These notebooks are a great idea for lefties, especially ones who want to rip out pages and store them in binders. The spiral and perforations are on the right, the holes on the left - very comfortable and efficient. Nice cover colors too.

Lefty notebook Sep 27, 2007
By Linda Mason I was so excited to find this item. My neighbor boy is left handed and he ask me if I could please look in the store one night for a left handed notebook. I had never relized that a left handed person struggled with a spiral notebook when positioning their hand to write. I could not find one and took it on as a mission to see where they sold such a thing. So when I found them I was overjoyed. He is really enjoying them. Thanks alot, Linda

Basically the same as a regular notebook. But i still like it Feb 15, 2010

I bought two of these in the hopes that i would use a spiral for the first time. Not just have a bunch of papers crammed into a folder. :D
This notebook doesnt really solve any problems with lefties and notebooks. All notebooks have the issue of the writer having to write over the spiral if they use the back pages. So in a sense, this notebook is the same as any old notebook you can buy at the store. BUT, i still like it, for a few reasons. The build quality of this notebook is very good. The covers are a little more then thick card-stock. And the coil is properly secured at both ends. I also like this notebook because of it being 11x9. The extra width goes towards a larger inside gutter. This helps to minimize having to write over the coil.
Overall, this notebook is great. Its fun to show to people and see their reactions. And its also fun to be offical with being left handed. :D
Recommended for all south paws out there. :D
(P.S. it might be a good idea to stick to a regular notebook if your going to be turning this one in to a teacher for her to grade something out of it. I've ran into that problem and the teacher didnt know how to read it since the reading is like they do in the middle east.)

Not totally functional Nov 21, 2006

I must say it is wonderful to be able to use a spiral notebook without contorting my hand, but it defeats a lot of the purpose when you put it into a three-ring binder and you can't use it while it is actually IN the binder. A valiant effort but it still isn't quite right. (er, left...)
