Just okay Jan 12, 2010
By msgamerette86 They are great looking chopsticks but kinda hard to use, they had little grooves at the end that I guess was supposed to make it easier to grip food but if your eating ramen or well anything it just kinda slips through, I prefer my wooden pair that I bought. But its a cute gift for someone.

Not what was pictured, but still nice. Apr 10, 2012
By PeachieClean Before ordering, I looked carefully at the picture. There was a neat checker-board pattern made with texturing on the spoon handle and the back part of the chopsticks. When the set showed up in the mail, there was no pattern. I wasn't really all that bent out of shape about it, but I'm going to be a lot more careful about buying things based on the picture now. The spoon is awesome and just what my boyfriend wanted. He's in love with it, and I've had to wash it every day since we got it so he could use it. The chopsticks are kind of odd. They are thin and flat and a bit difficult to use at first. I used them to eat Ramen and by the end of the bowl I'd figured them out pretty well. There isn't any texturing on the tips of the chopsticks, so picking up some foods is a challenge. All in all, considering I spent under $5 out of pocket (Yay for giftcards!) I'm pretty happy with this buy. They are pretty sturdy and very easy to clean. If you want a Korean spoon and some chopsticks that'll last you a good long time, these will do ya.

Bigger than expected! Jul 08, 2010
By Yanagi-San These are great [got them as a gift for a friend to go with some bento accessories] but be warned, they are bigger than they look! The spoon is the size of an iced tea spoon, if that gives you any sense of scale. They seem very durable and long lasting though!

love them Jan 30, 2010
By Emily Jo Ard My son eats with chop sticks ALL OF THE TIME! The wooden ones are pretty, but the coating on them wears quickly if they are used alot and washed frequently. The porcelain ones can break if dropped by accident. These ones aren't much to look at, but, they aren't being broken and they are not wearing out because we wash them all of the time. :)
nice May 16, 2012
By Sue Pine I also bought this chopstick on the basis of the picture that showed a checkerboard pattern on the chopstick. I was a disappointed to receive a very plain stainless steel chopstick because the picutre was misleading. Still, I kept the chopstick/spoon set because I wanted an authentic Korean metal chopstick. I love the long handle on the spoon. At first the metal flat chopstick felt awkward to use but I got used to it. I plan to get more stainless steel chopstick/spoon sets but will be more careful in selecting from a photo. I prefer ones with a nice design on the handles.
