Good bargain! Dec 16, 2008
By K. Mastromauro I bought this dresser for my 18 mo old's room. It is small but large enough for it purpose, she will outgrow it by at least age 8. My husband put it together and he felt it was somewhat difficult to do so. It has a nice finish and the drawer pulls are cute. All and all for the price you can't beat it....

Great dresser for the price! Mar 01, 2011
By laura.hedgepath Alot of reviews were complaining about how long it took to put this together. but these must be people with high expectations when ordering a dresser that they know is going to be put into a box small enough for one man to cary to your doorstep!
It took my husband about any hour to put together. which considering is not a long time AT ALL when putting a whole dresser together! If your going to complain about this, then I would suggest not looking at amazon.com and go into a store and pay the extra hundred dollars for one that is already built!
I bought this for my daughters nursery and goes wonderfully with the Graco Sarah Crib. The backing and bottom of the drawers are just cardboard that you nail on, but thats what I would expect when paying 116 dollars. The drawers are very quite when pulling out and glide back and forth very easily.
The product was packaged very well, and nothing was damaged.
Mind you, this is not a dresser that a toddler can stand on without breaking, so if your kid is doing that then buy a safer dresser. I hate some of the complaints I see on here. they are so annoying. Almost every complaint is user error, or things are happening to the dresser that its not intended for!
My hopes were high when I purchased this and I'm very pleased. For 116 dollars and free shipping I was very excited!
theres nothing to complain about :) So if your looking at ordering this dresser for a nursery go for it! A lamp is a great touch and I put it by my rocking chair, so its high enough but low enough that I can reach to turn on when feeding.

A very nice dresser May 21, 2011
By Lance W. Nelson To summarize: I am very pleased with this dresser.
While researching this dresser, the biggest complaint I saw stand out was how difficult it was to assemble. I don't agree, but it is quite a process. You really are putting together every piece. None of it is very difficult (except maybe pounding in the drawer guides), it is just time consuming because there are a lot of pieces.
Once complete, it is a very nice dresser. Granted, I haven't had it very long. But, it appears solid. My only minor complaints are that the drawer bottoms are cardboard, so I don't know how they will hold up. And the drawer guides are plastic on plastic. They work, they just appear cheap.
My 4 star rating doesn't indicate any flaws, I just like using the full scale. This dresser just doesn't "wow" me to deserve a 5 star. It is above average, with only the mentioned shortcomings that I can see.

WORST PURCHASE!!! Jul 11, 2010
By teamwolff After assembling the crib, changing table and bookshelf, I thought that putting together a simple dresser would be a piece of cake. WRONG!!! This is the biggest piece of crap every. Not only is it made super cheap, it also come with WAY TOO MANY PARTS for assembly. It took me two days to assemble, not because I couldn't figure it out, but just because there are soo many steps involved and tiny little screws and pieces to put together. The runners for the drawers are made of plastic and you put them in by hammering their plastic knobs into the pre-cut holes for each drawer. I KNOW there are much simpler ways to assemble drawers, but this company didn't do much planning.
Also, it looks much nicer in the picture than it does in real life. The paint is not solid, full of streaks and it's more of an off-white than "pure white". I would've returned it, but after spending so much time assembling, I didn't want to deal with the hassle.
DON'T Purchase this! Find something else!

spend the extra money Mar 07, 2010
By M. Patton Whiose most likely to buy this set?? Young parents, likely on a budget. Who should buy this set? Craftsmen who don't mind spendng hours putting a chest together piece by piece. Then again- he or she could probably build their own chest from scratch in the amount of time its taking to make this chest functional for my 3 year old. I'm far from good with tools/my hands, but I put my daighters crib and changing table together in less than half the time it's taking with this thing. The instructions clearly have you put the drawer tracks on backwards- just a heads up!
No exaggeration, it come in every single piece, even the individual drawers have to be built. I would not recommend this set for anyone who has anything to do on a weekend. However, if you are ready to spend a few beautiful spring days on the floor in your house, with a screwdriver, drill, and really bad instructions- this is for you!!
