Looks awesome in my sons room. Dec 08, 2008
By A. Allen I was intimidated having never done walpaper before. It comes in 8 pieces (4 columns, 2 rows). I was worried how it would turn out. I followed the instructions closely and it came out looking great. Don't worry if the paste gets everywhere, it cleans easy with a sponge and wont show when dried. Pluto is very high in the image and got cut off when the mural was centered on my 8" wall. If i did it again I would hang it lower to plan for this. The mural is very hard to cut when wet but very easy after the paste dries.
It looks awesome in my sons room.

It's great if you have patience & know what you're doing Feb 07, 2011
By Jeff The quality of the picture was excellent. It looks really good now that it's up. It took me about 4 hours to install and for the top row it really helped to have another set of hands. Planning and patience are everything when putting this up. Read the directions, read them again, and make sure you have plenty of time.
As one of the other reviewers mentioned...Pluto is high and right on the picture; I thought enough ahead to shift the picture left so it would fit, but I didn't notice how high it was and it got cut off. Even the room in the "after" picture shown on the box has Pluto cut off, so I guess I am at least in good company.
One thing that would make this product a lot better would be if the panels were pre-pasted. That was a real hassle, and the moisture of the paste has a big effect on the paper. If you don't get a good consistent amount of paste the paper warps until you even out the moisture.
Bottom line: I would recommend, but don't underestimate the time and effort it will take to hang.

awsome.. May 28, 2010
By K. Barone This is sooo cool. I ordered it for my 7 year old daughters room. She wanted a space room. I have never hung wallpaper before. It took me and my husband probably about 2 hours to hang it.. and we were ready for a divorce about 1/2 way through... but once it was up it's awesome. The wall covered about half of one of the walls were it ended so we used a utility knife and cut a curve into the mural and then painted the rest of that wall a deep eggplant color. Then we hung glow in the dark stars all over the painted wall.. it looks so cool. Our daughter loves it...

Love it. Amazing quality graphics. Jul 16, 2011
By Upstate NY yogurt maker After tearing out wallpaper, layers of it, from almost every room of a 100-year-old home, we swore we would never put wallpaper UP. Ever.
Then we bought a new house and were getting a room ready for our five-year-old son. Who loves space, and has the kind of mind for detail that means he knows not only the order of the planets, but also their relative sizes and distances from the sun.
As far as I can tell anyway, this mural is not only beautiful, but also gets all the details right. (Sure, Pluto is there, but it IS there, planet or no, right?)
Easy to put up? I wouldn't go that far. It IS wallpaper, in big sheets that have to align precisely (all those or ital rings and such). But the directions are good, and with two careful people working together it's not bad.
And it's totally worth the effort. Highly recommended.
Lots of fun Oct 14, 2011
By Jason Dufair This is a very cool mural. Make sure you follow instructions carefully in terms of letting it sit with the paste on it. It stretches when it gets wet with the paste and you want to make sure it's the right size when it hits the wall. You can still see the seams, but it's cool and my son loves it.
