I am pleasantly surprised with everything about this purchase. Timely delivery. Solid wood chairs. Well made/sturdy. Not made in China (Malaysia- Yay!). I knew they would require assembly-- I was dreading putting them together, with the spindles and all... but, they shipped partially assembled! It only took 5 minutes to put one together. The seat and seat back were pre-assembled! Compareable to chairs at local stores that cost 3 and 4 times more than these. I highly recommend.

The 4 Oak Finish Arrow BSet of 4 Oak Finish Arrow Back Windsor Country Style Dining Chairsack Windsor Country Style Dining Chairs did arrive promptly. Assembly was a little difficult when it came to lining up the holes for the legs which were preassembled in pairs. The reason for my low rating for this product however, is that the cross braces which came connected to the pairs of legs came apart soon after giving the chairs very moderate use. Obviously, the Malasian manufacturer failed to use quality glue to keep the prassembled cross pieces in place. The one star is merited by the decent quality of wood used.

I bought these chairs for my wife on for her birthday. They looked great and were delivered right on time. I had a question and found the customer service to be excellent. I would definitely buy from Visiondecor again!!

Chairs were shipped promptly and easy to put together. However, once they were assembled they were very wobbly and had to be reinforced with additional nails. Supports under chairs kept popping out (these were preassembled in factory).

Great Chairs, Not Easily Assembled Jan 09, 2012

These chairs arrived in just a couple of days - really speedy delivery to the Southwest. They are indeed hard wood, though I am not sure it is oak; they are made in Malaysia. They did come partially assembled, which is to say that the backs and the seats are already glued and nailed together. But the reviewer who wrote that they were "easy to put together; did one in 5 min." is obviously a very handy person. If I had not been able to call on my son-in-law, I would have had to return the chairs. I have put together many pieces of Ikea furniture, and these are MUCH more complicated than that. The chairs come with all required screws and bolts, a small container of wood glue, and a hex key. So far, so good. But you need a sturdy mallet to tap the leg pieces into the holes pre-drilled for them in the seats, and you need an electric drill to insert the wood screws at the base of the legs, where the legs meet the chair seat. So... be aware that unless you are quite handy, or have someone who can do this job for you, you do not want these chairs! If you ARE handy or DO have someone to help with the assembly, then you should be very pleased with the chairs. They are very attractive, sit flat on the floor with no wobbling, and the price is amazing - about $100 for 4 solid wood chairs plus about $40 for shipping is a big bargain I think. I saw folding chairs in my local stores for about this price! Would I buy them again? Definitely, so long as my son-in-law was again willing to help. He and my daughter put the 4 together in about 40 min.
I can't yet comment on their sturdiness as they are brand-new, but I will update the information in a couple of months, once the chairs have seen some use.
