I just received these chairs and was pleasantly surprised. The wood color is a bit darker than the photo, wenge finish is a term that denotes a dark stain on the wood - they are a nice dark espresso color. The seats are actually a medium-dark mocha color. The finish is very good quality. Easy to assemble & arrived in great condition with no missing pieces.

I recently puchased these chairs for a really expensive table we bought. When they arrive I was concerned they would be too light in colocr. When my husband put them together, they fit in with the table perfectly. The squares on the backrest went so well with the squares on the table. We decided we'll purchase the counter stools to finish off the dining decor.

The chairs are quite fashionable and sturdy. I suspect they'll have quite a lengthy life. Although ultimately I didn't need to test them in the first place, I can state that the customer service is superb.

These Wenge chairs are used by me on each side of a phone/tea table. They are very easy to assemble. The finished product leaves me to wonder. At the back of the seat is a gap.
If you are not particular and can live with the gap, they are dainty and rich in color. I would still recommend them for price and rich appearance.
