Great Product but Received 3 in a row that were broken Aug 20, 2009

Believe it or not, I ordered this from SEI themselves. They were GREAT to deal with, by the way. However, the first one I received had a hairline crack in part of the frame. So, I called them and they picked it up via UPS for free (I had free shipping to begin with). Well, ordered another one and guess what - SAME PROBLEM. Sent that one back. Thought I'd try ONE more time because this was really the best one of its kind I had found. Well, the third one arrived with the SAME problem. All three had cracks. I finally gave up.

Happily organized Dec 26, 2008

"Organized"
This was exactly as described. I was able to store all my jewelry in a very organized manner. I added a covered piece of styrofoam to store more earrings which works great for stud earrings. I was able to easily hang the mirror using hangers (which I had around the house) more appropriate for dry wall. It is very stable and easy to open and see all my jewelry.

Very nice quality and design but HEAVY Aug 05, 2008
By M. Luther This jewelry mirror is very nice looking and well-made. My only complaint is that it is really heavy and the 2 screws provided are not enough support. It currently is leaning against my daughter's wall until we figure out a better way to hang it.

nice jewelry mirror May 18, 2008

"quick jaunt"
Nicely made wall mounted jewelry mirror. Great for storage and organizing your jewelry. Only concern would be the 2-2 inch screws that came with the mirror to anchor it into the wall. Still a quality product, timely shipment, and easy to install.

Well Built! Mar 01, 2012
By Christine The jewelry case is heavier and better made than I thought, even after reading the reviews. I love it.
Hanging I agree with the other reviews that the anchors that come with it don't seem to be sufficient for the weight so I used some extra anchors I had in the tool box. It seems very secure even though I did not drill any additional holes in the case as some other reviewers have have done and I did not put the anchors into studs, just drywall. The case is heavy and definately takes 2 people to put up. We should have used a power tool to reduce the tired arms holding the case up while the other one put the screws in, but the battery way dead and I was too anxious to put the case up to wait for it to charge. :)
Storage I picked this case because it has plenty of space for long and/or bulky necklaces and hook earings. The case did not disappoint. This is not a good case if you are looking to store a lot of post earrings. Another review had said somthing about putting their post earings in the earig slots. Out of curiosity I tried that but it made really nervous. It is really easy to knock them out of the little slot, but hook earings seem secure. I think the only decent choice would be to toss them in the removable tray at the bottom of the case, but I find that kinda low. I keep all my post earings in my old small jewlry box on my dresser, which I find to be a better height.
Smell The case interior had a very strong, very industrial smell when it arrived. I put a couple shot glasses in teh bottom with baking soda in them in the bottom of the case and the smell was mostly gone after a couple days.
