The set is classy, functional, and cheap. I would have given it 5 stars except there is a little spillage while pouring, and heated sake on the fingers is somewhat foul smelling.
For those wondering a good way to heat the sake, do not put directly over the stove. I boil a pot of water and remove the pot from the stove. Then I place the sake carafe into the water and heat the sake that way. It brings the sake to a pleasant temperature without burning the taste.

This was a gift for a friend of mine. I checked it out when I got it and all the parts look gorgeous and well made. We used it once over the holidays and everything was satisfactory. It was nice that it comes in it's own box considering I was giving it as a gift.

One of the Sake cups was chipped, I would rather have a set that was not chipped. Why would anyone want a chipped Sake cup?
