Great addition to your princess' room Jan 19, 2010
By Rachel M. Kozak This is a cute bookcase, a perfect fantasy piece. I bought it for my 7 year old step-daughter. i thought it was easy to assemble, it was sturdy, and looked great. it was of good quality for the price and i was not disappointed. my husband even said it looked great. definately something to make a young girl feel very special. as far as "no covers" for the hardware as another reviewer mentioned, the screw ends are painted the same colors as the bookcase so they don't stand out. (and your princess could care less about whether or not screws show in the bookcase.) final verdict: loved it!

Great bookshelf for a little princess Nov 21, 2006
By J. Hill My preschooler loves her new bookcase. It matches her room perfectly with the 2 shades of pink. It is sturdy and easy to assemble. There is also plenty of room for her books, and she can reach them all easily.

Cheap AND lasts Nov 23, 2011
By G-Money The bookcase, toddler bed and night table were the only things to last out of the entire bedroom set. If you're looking to get the vanity, the stool broke while my daughter was sitting on it. The second thing to break was the full lenght mirror. It's a nice starter bedroom set for little ones but it is cheap so maybe it's hit or miss.

Princess Bookcase Aug 31, 2008
By A Pip This bookcase is really adorable, we love it! It was the perfect addition to my daughter's "princess" room. It was fairly easy to build. It is not very big at all, but just my daughter's height/size; which is nice for her. The only drawbacks are the shelves are a little short so it won't hold tall books, but we put some of her stuffed animals on top instead. Also, the wood/material it's made from is very thin so it's pretty lightweight. Can be used as a nightstand/bookcase.

Decent...not great. Dec 13, 2007

Overall this is a decent product. Not as nice as the toy box, but it serves its' purpose. My main compliant would have to be construction and assembly. This is one of those pieces that could have been a lot better if they just have thought it through a little more. Instead of the back being a solid piece of chip board or composite, it was four individual pieces. This makes it difficult to assemble and not so sturdy. Also, they do not include pieces to cover the screw heads, thus all of the hardware is exposed.
