Not worth it! Jul 03, 2001
By Elina Y. Romero Teether rail comes in 4 pieces made to fit a standard crib rail. Although it fits on easily, it also can be removed easily by your toddler. My 13 month old has discovered how to remove each piece, chew on it, and proceed to throw it to the floor. Then, he goes on to chew the crib rail anyway. This isn't worth the money -- I would rather pay more for a product that does the job it's supposed to do.

works for our baby Dec 15, 2004
By A Shing my baby is 9+ months now, with 3rd teeth coming out. he bends over and chew on anything in front of him to ease his teeth pain. He's also recently learned to pull himself up to stand in his crib. so crib rail became his favorite chewing thing. Luckily we installed this teether before his top teeth came out, and he's been chewing away on the teether. he has once or twice pulled on the teether to make it come off on one side, but never completely pulled it off. to resolve the problem of it coming off easily, you can tie it, use velcro on it, or tape it. frankly i think the material is nice, and you can't find anything better than this on the market right now. it definitely beats letting the baby chew away on the wood/plastic crib rail. it's easy to clean, too. i personally think it's a great product for the baby.

Might Work, Might Not Apr 26, 2005
By Maureen Mitchell The tops of my son's crib rails are rounded over. The Crib Rail Teether slides on easily enough, but doesn't snap into place. My son (12 months) pulled it off in less than a week. After he pulled one portion off, he fell back down onto the crib mattress, jabbing the end of the crib rail teether into the bottom of his chin causing a gash, but not serious thankfully. Please check to see that your child cannot easily remove the teether strips. If he can, an accident like this can easily happen. If the strips stayed in place, they would have been fine. However, each crib is different, so check first to see that the strips are a good "fit".

Not good for wider rails Jul 26, 2006
By Erin

I noticed my kiddo gnawing on his crib rails. I purchased and installed this product. The rail guards NEVER stayed in place! Without fail they would begin to pop up within minutes of putting them on. Our rails must be too wide for this product. I guess it did work a little. My son would spend time prying the rails off and throwing them on the ground instead of eating the rails.

DOESN'T WORK!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY. Oct 15, 2005
By Donna K. Liebowitz I bought this product thinking it was going to be the solution to the (teething) problem. WRONG! My son figured out how to pull them off the same day that they were installed and now as soon as he goes in to his crib, the first thing he does is stand up and pull them off. Then he throws them out of the crib! A few times I even saw them in the crib with him sleeping on top of them. NO GOOD..... Too bad there isn't some better way to get this product to stay in place where it belongs.
