5Great value, beautiful finish, easy to use  Jul 17, 2008
By AreYouKidding?
I purchased this as part of the Gold Box Deal of the Day. Two days to my door via Prime and in less than an hour it's installed. The stainless steel finish is satin (not polished) and it matches my sink, appliances and other kitchen accents perfectly. (See customer photos).

Installation was a breeze and the instructions were simple to follow. I was replacing an existing faucet in a 1-hole configuration and this was a direct swap. All I needed to pick up from the local hardware store was some plumber's putty and two connector hoses. Be sure to have a big crescent wrench handy for tightening the various nut and connector sizes; a flashlight is also a must.

The pull down sprayer is easy to use and includes a switch to go from what I can best describe as "full" to "shower". There is also a valve on the handle to control the amount of water flow. There is a handy weight you install on the sprayer's hose (underneath the sink) that helps retract the sprayer hose back in to the faucet.

I did not install the included soap dispenser. It is however very high quality. The fixture is nice and heavy and compliments the faucet well. When I get brave enough, I'll attempt to put a hole in my LG countertops.

Highly recommended this item for the price.

3Slightly Disappointed  Jan 23, 2009
By Kristina "Who Me?"
This faucet and soap dispenser worked well for the first four months (received product in August 2008). In December 2008, we started noticing that, at times, the soap dispenser would not pop back up after we pushed it down for soap. During these instances, we typically have to wait 5-10 minutes for it to return to its normal position before we can use it again. Also, around the same time, the handle on the faucet started falling back down, which turns the water back on. To counteract this, we have made sure that the handle is either pointing toward us or away from us (opposed to straight up) when in the "off" position, so that it doesn't automatically slip back into the "on" position and waste water. I have not attempted to contact the company for replacement parts yet, but I feel as though these small inconveniences shouldn't be happening only four months into use!

5Well worth the money and then some  Jul 18, 2008
By D. Bonza
I bought this as deal of the day and received it in about 3 days, nice. Well it is an early x-mas present to myself but I wanted to open to see if it would fit my sink, three punches for the faucet and the fourth on the side for the sprayer. It does and just like the others it is truly beautiful. It makes you want to update everything to be as pretty as the faucet and my kitchen is only 10 years old. It is a satiny finish not polished which is an added bonus for the kitchen, you can never keep polished stainless steal clean. I was looking at Home Depot for a faucet and the very cheapest I could find that came close to this model was $[...] so I gave up. This is well worth every penny.

4Looks nice, works well, with caveats  Aug 16, 2008
By Nicholas Sterling "AmigoNico"
This appeared as the Deal of the Day right after I noticed that my faucet was about to give out. I couldn't tell from the photo whether the finish was brushed, but I decided it wasn't a deal-breaker either way so I took the plunge.

The finish is not mirror-like. I'm not sure whether it is really brushed, but it seems like it is, lightly. I am quite pleased with the finish, and in general the elegant shape of the faucet.

Installation was not difficult. The one tip I can offer is that if you pull out the spray head as far as you can, it will make it easier to slip the washer and nut over the rest of the tubes.

The long U-shaped portion of the faucet turns freely in the base, so you can easily move the head from one sink to the other in a dual-sink arrangement.

The hose for the pull-out sprayer is not metallic, so I wonder whether it will eventually give out where it rubs as you pull it in and out. However, it turns out that we rarely feel the need to pull it out because the sprayer head has a very convenient 360-degree swivel joint that allows you to direct the flow of water wherever you want, and the head will stay in that position. That leaves both hands free to work with whatever it is you are trying to wash. Very nice! Between the freely turning U-shaped tube and the swivel joint, we can hit pretty much any spot in the dual sink without pulling out the sprayer head.

Another reviewer complained about the water flow being inadequate. It is just fine for me. Perhaps it's a question of water pressure?

The operation of the handle may not be immediately obvious -- you move it to the right to turn it on, and lift it up and away from you to get hot water. It works quite smoothly, but at first I found myself lifting the handle to turn it on.

So overall I'm really quite pleased, especially for the Deal-of-the-Day price, which was quite good. But my brother, who has worked as a handyman, wished that I had bought a Delta because he believes that their quality is generally much better. Time will tell. I had looked at Deltas and didn't see any that I liked as much as this one, but if in three years I'm replacing it again I will follow his advice in the future! He is, after all, my *older* brother...

UPDATE

I've had this for over 3 years now; it has been problem-free and I love it. I should point out, though, that I didn't install the soap dispenser, so my comments apply only to the faucet itself.

If I had to do it again, I think I would install it with the handle sticking out toward me instead of off to the right. That way the water on our hands when we turn off the faucet would not drip down onto the countertop, leaving a stain from our hard water. The only goofy thing about that is that the handle would go to the left for cold and up for hot. But still, to avoid those stains...

4Nice Faucet; Taller than I expected; But be aware of missing screw  Jul 29, 2008
By Dylan Jackson
First off, I'd like to start with this is an excellent quality faucet, and much cheaper than anything found at your local "orange" or "blue" home improvement stores. Similar models are listed for 1.5x to 2x the price. Go amazon for another screaming deal.

Install was pretty typical, one tip is be careful to not pull the hose too far out during install. If you do, it is a real hassle to thread it back into the sink. Also my faucet was missing a tiny screw on the top of the handle. Another friend purchased the same faucet and had the same issue. My wife called Price Pfister (aka Black and Decker) and the agreed to ship us the tiny screw for free. I'm not sure exactly what the screw is for, but the manual clearly states it should be there. Minus 1/2 star for the hassle factor.
