I bought this faucet elsewhere, and just wanted to warn folks about a potential issue. My granite counter plus the plywood decking underneath is about 1 1/2" thick. I installed the faucet but was unable to properly connect the part that connects to the water supply lines. Then I noticed that the installation manual says "if installation surface depth is thicker than 1 1/2", order spare part 971-086." That part doesn't even exist. The online manual says the part is 971-026, which is $57 on Price Pfister's web site. It looks like you can get it a bit cheaper elsewhere, but it's still a major hassle. They should have made the valve bodies a bit longer to work with granite counters.

Just tried to install this faucet and the handles don't sit flush with the sink...they're about a 1/2 in. away from the metal piece that sits on top of the sink. I will be returning this.

So it looks great and is $52 cheaper at a major home improvement warehouse. The problem is with the hose going from the faucet to the turn handles. #1 it's about 4-6" too long so you have to bend, contort and kink the hose just to make it fit. #2 the circular part of the hose "is supposed to be a snug fit", which it is no where close to being. Customer service is sending out a replacement part for a defective hose, we'll see if that works. Spend $20 more and get an American made Moen or Delta faucet. Price Pfister is actually Black and Decker and is made in China.

FYI, I had just bought this same exact model faucet at a home improvement store i'll refer to as "HD" for about $52 less than here. I'm shocked because i thought that you could buy just about anything cheaper online!
