BUYER BEWARE Aug 30, 2006
By Tifina L. Snellings
"Tifini"
I bought this model in maple finish, and it came in two boxes and 354 pieces. It takes over 8 hours to put together, and there were missing pieces and design flaws. When you attach the rear stabalizers, the third and bottom drawers do not close. The T-spacers are not designed well, making it very difficult for the screws to lay flush against the cabinet slides, thus making the drawers difficult to open and close. When you call the company for assistance/replacement parts, a machine asks you to leave a message.

Love the finished product, takes forever to put together Jul 24, 2009
By A. Wheeler This chest looks great when assembled, but be forewarned that it takes a while to put it together and it's much easier with two people. It's sturdy and well-made, unlike some flat-pack furniture. However, it has an interesting drawer system that entails screwing in plastic brackets, then screwing in the drawer slides to those. Be sure you have a power screwdriver handy, or your wrist will be mighty sore. It looks great, but I wasn't overly happy with the four hours it took to screw everything together, working solo.

Very Poor Quality--Rickety Nov 10, 2010
By ,Schoener LaPrairie Only good part: the multiple drawers fit my storage needs. Other than that, the materials were cheap--fiberboard that had all kinds of damage to the cheaply-sprayed white drawer fronts. The bottom of the drawers are little more than cardboard & slide out when you use it so you have to tape them in with scotch tape. The drawers are not spaced right vertically in the front so there are gaps between some drawers and not others. They did not bother to finish the underside of the top so the overhang is fiberboard on the bottom once assembled. There is a lot of wasted space on the inside due to various spacers so the drawers are much smaller than the width of the cabinet. The trim hammers in with dowels so it's not permanently held in place. It has a million parts so it takes forever to assemble--I was able to do it being 8 mo pregnant (probably b/c it's little more than cardboard) but it took me all weekend and I am a fast assembler. I never write reviews but I took the time to do this one b/c I can't believe I spent almost $200 for this thing!! As soon as I am done with it for my infant I am getting rid of it--it's not a decent piece of furniture you will want to hold on to. Wish I had spent just a little more and got a REAL piece of furniture.

Excellent Aug 21, 2010
By ByTheLake I needed something narrow and this fit. Was nervous when it arrived in two flat boxes. I had to do this myself and I'm not good as a carpenter. It was totally in pieces but the instructions were very well done and easy to understand. It did take a while to do but I am very pleased with the finished product. Very nice. Would recommend

By Global girl Perfect, just what we wanted. We had a problem with one of the drawers but it was quickly replaced. Took awhile to assemble but it was really worth it. Love it!
