Mediocre table, great service. Oct 29, 2007
By Pamela Scott Batzek
"Pamela"
The table is now serviceable, but I had to contact the seller for missing connecting dowels. I attempted to call the manufacturer using the 800 number on the assembly instructions but had my call answered by a machine instructing me to call another number which charged big bucks for calling it. What a scam!!! I then contacted the seller using the number for them listed on Amazon, advised them of the scam and requested the parts be sent. I don't know if they knew about the scam but I received the parts promptly. The table is okay but it's the usual particle board with a veneer. My rating: Table=okay Seller Service=very good

Great mission style table Jul 12, 2009
By Kareen Land This magazine table is a perfect match for any mission style furnishings you may have. The finish color is just right. It's not particularly difficult to put together, just time consuming. If you do this sort of thing every day, it will be quick; the rest of us might need to allow two or three hours. The panels and parts are packed very tightly in the box. First be sure to lay out all the pieces in Part A, B, C, through W order and put the various hardware and wood dowels in individual zip lock baggies so you won't lose anything. Also, after all the bending and squatting around on the carpet while assembling the parts, you may be a bit sore the next day. Not that it's taxing; it's more like how you might feel after playing catcher at a weekend softball tournament. The assembly of the magazine rack portion was a bit awkward - set the little rails in place and then place the top bar and push the sides in to keep it all together - the pieces fell over a few times until I managed to balance them and then everything came together. I am not a tool time kind of gal, but can follow written instructions. Once you finish, you'll have a sense of accomplishment, and a decent little side table. Be aware that it's a wood veneer, but looks great when you're finished.

mission oak magazine cabinet table Dec 02, 2009
By Hoop I like the table it looks great. it is so hard to find a table that is made to be seen from all 4 sides. I wanted to set my laptop on it, and put some remotes on the shelf, a few magazines in the rack, store some junk(cords computer mouse laptop accessories),and still have the table in the open. This table does it all!! the price on amazon was unbeatable, shipping was fast, and the instructions and assembly were to be expected(it takes 2 people and a little time). I have recieved many compliments on the table and nobody thought it was a table that you have to put together. Overall a very nice and unique table.

Worst Item I Have Bought in Amazon Feb 25, 2012
By Javier Cardona

Buyers beware! I wish I had read all the bad reviews for this item before I bought it. Just like it is stated by other reviewers, the assembly instructions for the table are very confusing and deficient. I had to rely on my intuition and sense of logic to put it together. Once assembled the table felt and looked cheap and flimsy. Not more than a month after I loaded it with a fraction of my collection of magazines (about 40 issues from Scientific American and Times magazines) the table collapsed into a pile of badly constructed parts. This is without a doubt the worst item that I have bought in Amazon. Don't waste your money or efforts on this piece of shabby workmanship.

ABSOLUTE JUNK Jan 08, 2012
By pat I received my table today, and to put it mildly, it is junk. We have it together, now, by mega amounts of glue. I have put this type of item together many times, this is by far the worst, engineering wise and quality wise. The boarding is so thin that it breaks apart easily when you try to put the screws in it and hold it together. The predrilled screw holes are almost as wide as the board. Upon receipt of the table we found several pieces had been broken off, in fact it appears that someone else received this and sent it back, as there were many loose pieces just juggling around in the box. Should Stacks, etc., wish to make it good by us, they can be in touch. I am so disappointed with this product. It doesn't even qualify for one star...
