I bought this for my Mom for Christmas. She is going through rough times with cancer. I wanted to find a gift that would maker her smile. I bought this peeing pug and set it next to a fake little plant. It made my Mom laugh for the first time in a long time. It looks so life like that it doesn't look cheesy. If your a pug lover you'll love this little guy..and yes you can tell it's a guy pug LOL

Very disappointed with product and company. Ordered this item twice and both times it arrived broken, the second time more like crushed.
The item was returned both times and noted as damaged, neither time did the company admit it was returned due to damage.
First time

Wow! How often can you say that you received a well made, solid product for little cost? When I ordered the peeing Pug, I figured it would be fairly cheaply made and not so realistic looking- and that the paint would likely peel in time...this guy is wonderful! The statue looks so real that when I took a photo and emailed it, my friends thought I had gotten a Pug!! I love it- very well made and substantial. I am very satisfied with this fun dog statue.

Damaged / Paw broken off Feb 10, 2012

This review is for the purchase from A Bit of Country, LTD. The dog came in a huge box, without any cushioning (except a thin strip of cardboard paper). There was a plastic bag wrapped around the dog. I'm currently counting 9 pieces that were broken off from the leg that is lifted while the dog is peeing. This is for a gift and cannot send back. BEWARE of ordering of A Bit Of Old Country, the packaging is HORRIBLE! Buy the dog at a local store for $20

It does look surprisingly realistic and I was looking forward to seeing it in our front or back yard, freaking out our own (real) pug. Unfortunately this pug needs to be made of stronger stuff. The first one arrived with it`s standing rear leg snapped off. I returned it. No issues. Ordered another and that one also arrived with a leg snapped off, this time it`s cocked leg. I considered gluing it but it appeared to me that both had been packed broken, The packing was very substantial. Thats the only conclusion I can come to. I returned the second victim and again Amazon took it back and credited with no issues.
Good luck if you order one. If it arrives unbroken I`m sure you will like it. I gave up after the second attempt.
