For Your Safety's Sake...DO NOT BUY Feb 09, 2009

The "stainless steel" in these tongs is so soft and flexible you cannot possibly SAFELY obtain a solid grip any item of substance such as a hot ear of corn or a steak.

When you use this tool, your hands "take a beating" because your hand and arm muscles, tendons and ligaments have to compensate for the lack of strength of the metal.

Not surprisingly, I returned these tongs.

Based on experience, I most strongly and absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND these tongs.
