It is hard to make a bad pair of scissors, but as far as scissors go, these are top notch. The design really allows easy cutting, even through typically difficult material and oddly shaped packaging. Comfortable to use, very durable (although I've only had them for a couple months) and not bad looking either.

Ya know, of cutting paper. They're perfect for that. I'm not too sure of more difficult fabrics though. One thing to mention: The thumb hole is a lot bigger than other scissors I've used. I don't know if this would be a problem for anyone, just saying.

I am not sure if it is this way with all of this type of scissors, but I know I was disappointed with mine. I was expecting to be able to use it to cut fabric, but there was a significant section in the middle that would not cut the fabric. Both ends of the scissors were very sharp and worked well, I just wish the middle would also cut.

This product is great for paper and thin cardboard, but my (very dull) kitchen shears did much better on plastic packaging than these scissors. Keep in mind that the product is by "Officemate" and not "Kitchenmate" or "AllOverHousemate" :)

I bought these as filler for free shipping, they work well, nothing fantastic.
The two tone color goes a long way in reminding you that you did not buy this at a dollar store.The feel of the orange part on the plastic handle has a bit of give which is nice for tactile response.
