Buy only for cuteness, don't expect super functionality Jan 12, 2009
By L. Voiles This is an okay night light, it is kind of cute but not too great functionally. If you want it for the cuteness, it isn't too expensive (less than $15) and you'll probably like it. However, don't buy this and expect it to be a good source of sole lighting at night for checking on your baby.
1. The monkey is painted on a very dense/heavy piece of material that is glued to the green square backing on three pegs. I returned the first one because the pegs sheared off in shipping. The replacement I received has two out of three pegs loose but I have it plugged in and just hope it stays intact. I am debating on whether to return it again. Because the material is so dense, the light it puts out is pretty dim.
2. The actual night light portion has a light sensor so the light doesn't stay on in the daytime. However, the sensor is very weak and doesn't sense the light as quickly as the plain ones you find in department stores...probably partially because the cuteness hangs over the sensor a little.

Don't Bother Jul 08, 2011
By V. Caschetta My opinion is about the same as others here except I rated it less. What I don't like about it; It sits far off the wall, no on/off switch, sensor doesn't work, light does not really pass through the image it lights up the wall instead, clips that hold the plate on to the light will break for sure in a short time. It looks nice but it is just not functional and there are others that look nice that are.
Way too heavy... May 16, 2012
By KERRYANN MATTHIAS My son has this whole NoJo collection in his room and I bought this night light to complete the collection. It's ceramic and it's so heavy that it hangs off the wall, coming out of the outlet. Way to heavy for a night light.
Night light only for one type of outlet! Sep 30, 2011
By Monica J. Dragutinovich It is so cute and it is a shame it has to be returned. But the plug portion only permits the user to plug the item into the wall one direction. As luck would have it, our outlets run the other direction. It would have been great if the design allowed the user to twist the back to fit both types of outlets. Otherwise, very cute item.
Dysfunctional May 29, 2011
By Sirius452 This nightlight is cute and matched perfectly in my nursery. For the price it's good. It is a bit on the heavy side and will come unplugged. There is no off switch. The biggest problem I have with it is that the plates don't allow light through them so the light is cast upon the wall. It is still useful but doesn't cast light out where it is needed. It just lights up the wall. I still use a glade plug in with a light to see by instead of this thing. It is decoration mostly.
