When I first ordered this bed I had no idea what the quality would of been. I thought it was one of those cheap beds that have the shiny black finish. To my surprise I was wrong the bed is beautiful as well as classy. I Love this bed frame. The photos do not do it justice. Yes you do nee to by the frame, but this is still a great deal. If you do not like the color which is black you can spray it to any color you like. You will love this bed as I do.

I purchased this bed over the holiday weekend and it arrived the following Friday faster then expected. The instructions were vague but once I identified which piece was which, it was a snap to put together!. Make sure you do purchase a quality stand alone frame for it.The Bed itself does not appear like it would be rather sturdy as load bearing. I also purchased a four point mosquito netting canopy and added shears underneath along the canopy rails to create a more dramatic effect and love the way it looks! Awsome deal and a very pleased new owner!

i give this bed 4 out of 5 stars because i love the bed but unfortunately it came with no instrustions so i got highly irritated trying to put it together however i did a good job and made sure everything was tighten but i didnt use the med. sized circle tools i couldnt figure out what they were for but other that that the bed is outstanding and its stiff enough

I recommend this product!, its was a great purchase! the only thing you need is a footer and header railing, but i set it up with one side only and it looks as good! very strong as well! now my room looks elegant!

I have yet to put this one together because my bed frame that i ordered from another company is still sending me the rest of the order =(
