This is much nicer than the standard butcher block microwave stand. Its solid and the storage is well thought out. The drawer is really nice for storing less-used kitchen utensils. Without the ice crushers and zucchini zesters cluttering up my main drawers, its much easier to find my more commonly used items.

Assembly was fairly simple. The directions are clear and easy to follow. Even for a self-assembly disaster-in-waiting like me. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver and a hammer. A tack hammer would be best, but not necessary.

No complaints here. I'll buy another when I purchase my second microwave.

This has been an excellent addition to our kitchen! It is pressboard but it's a better quality than most. We have not noticed any sort of veneer puckering despite being in a fairly moist environment. Nice and roomy.
