I was very excited to find this set that matched my canisters, however, I wasn't thinking about the problem I had with the canisters.
For some reason, these hold moisture and cause the contents to harden. I had to put ziploc bags in each canister to keep the sugar, flour etc. from hardening. You can't exactly make that work for a salt and pepper shaker so they are unable to be used. They do look nice on my table but I wouldn't recommend them for use.
