The sellers were not terribly specific in their description of the product. The original price of $750 led me to believe that it might have been real wood. Cherry finish, however, means pressboard with cherry finish. The drawers do no extend all the way to the back of the piece, and are therefore not as functional as I'd have liked. It's also shorter than I'd thought. However, it seems solid enough now that it's put together and it's attractive enough to meet my needs. Thus I'd say it's "OK".
