I could only find this product on line. When I visited the local retail stores they carried similar products by brand but using the old attachment system (two screws per attachment into wallboard) vs. the one built in wallboard pre-attached screw on this system. Overall I don't like securing items to wallboard. To use this system you need experience and some luck. If it doesn't work well the first time, that is the only chance you have. In retrospect I would use the traditional method of attachment which uses four anchor screws. It is more secure.

Did quite a bit of looking before deciding on this style. We wanted something classy and classic. This is a good fit for our arts and crafts house - it looks nice and seems durable - and we've put one in two bathrooms, along with matching Brantford towel bars and toilet levers, and have had no problems in 10 months of use. Definitely recommend using the included anchor screws to secure it to drywall, but that should work fine (just make sure you have it exactly where you want it, because digging out the screws means patching your wall). Replacing TP rolls is pretty easy with the spring mechanism. The only word of caution is that you could scrape the finish if you're not careful when putting the bar back into place. That said, this was a good buy for us.

I have redone all fixtures in my bathroom with this line of Moen. The finish and quality are great. Instructions are clear and assembly is very easy.

I see that several of the reviews talk about how nice these look. I would agree with that. However, the installation is a disaster. You basically have to tighten the bracket down and hope that it is tight enough. I was replacing another holder and this one was going over where the old one was. The drywall didn't allow it to tighten and the thing came out and left me with a big hole. Moen would do well to look at how most other brands install with a bracket and a set screw.
As long as Moen installs this way, I will never buy another one of their products again.
