Mini Quartz Clock Motors & Hands (Qty 5)

This is a great clock movement for do-it-yourself craft projects. The compact quartz crystal movement measures only 2-1/8" square and is only 5/8" thick because the factory has minimized and miniaturized the parts inside. The movement, though, is sturdy and extremely accurate, usually to within plus or minus 3 or 4 minutes a year and it can run up to 3 years on one good quality AA alkaline battery (batteries are not included). The hand shaft length (the threaded brass part not including the hand stem) is 7/16" long and will fit a case up to 5/16" thick. You need only drill a hole in your clock face 11/32" in diameter to mount the movement. Each movement comes equipped with a set of classic gold hands and all necessary hardware including a hanger bracket. The minute hand measures 2-1/2" long and the hour hand is 1-13/16" long and will look best on dials measuring 5" to 6" in diameter. This movement is easy to install requiring only that you select or design a suitable object, drilll a hole in it for mounting and install the clock and hands.
