Easy to assemble and quite comfortable Aug 05, 2010
By Jeff Needed some chairs for a high conference table. We searched the internet and local stores and landed on this model based on description as well as pricing. Easy to assemble and adjust. Two concerns - seat could be larger for larger people and there is no adjustment for the amount of tension holding the back in place. Might be perfect as a drafting stool but has drawbacks as choice for a long meeting around a conference table.

Fabulous Chair! Mar 06, 2011

Love everything about this chair. True my neighbor put it together for me (in like 10 minutes). Very comfortable, very adjustable, perfect really for an artist who needs support & mobility at a high drafting table. Thank you!

Poor product description info - Not tall enough for standing desk Sep 14, 2011
By Jeremy Wilson This product would be a good raised work surface stool/extended height chair for anyone shorter than say maybe 5'3" tall.
For the rest of us, the vast majority I would think in the United States, this chair is too short to sit in while pulled up to a standing desk height configuration, in my case the surface being at 43.5". I am 5'10" and the surface allows for my forearms to be parallel to the floor while typing.
Furthermore this item listing is simply deficient. Poor technical details. More information would have allowed to not make this mistake before ordering.
I guess that is part of why Hermann Miller can charge so much. Their product listings actually include images with detailed technical specs.

Drafting task Chair Aug 25, 2011
By officeadmin Drafting chair was exactly as we had hoped and looked great once put together. Only problem was the instructions for putting together were not well done. Good thing I am the official chair-builder in the office and have already worked with other similar styles and manufacturers, otherwise I would have been completely at sea!

Nice chair! Nov 10, 2010
By Dave Setup was a breeze, had it assembled without difficulty in about 15 minutes, came together easily. Its durable with being banged against a desk and is sturdy and stable. Glad we made the purchase!
