I was dissappointed in this product. I was hoping to get the same product my sister received as a present which has a different recorded message for each hour. I was planning to have each of our children and grandchildren announce an individual hour for my wife. This product allows only one message to be recorded and plays the same message every hour. I suppose, like many other companies in today's economy, you are saving money by cutting back on quality and offering us junk for the same price! Too bad - the other product was really a great gift.

WARNING. THIS CLOCK RECORDS ONLY ONE MESSAGE. The same message plays over and over again at the top of each hour.
I wanted to replace my original version of this clock that allowed me to record a different message each hour. If no message was recorded, the time was announced hourly. I use the clock for a special needs child. I quickly announce the time on each hourly recording, and follow it with a short fun message for her. She loves it - especially when I'm not in the room. Unfortuneatly, after many good years, it started running slow so I bought a new one, I thought. What a dissapointment I got!
Even if the time announcement was not an issue here, I would STILL prefer the OLD clock that allows one to coincide a message with EACH picture.
Here's an example where the manufacturer downgraded a good product in order to increase their profits by a buck or two. I returned mine, but got stuck with a 15% restocking fee (different seller than above - check sellers return policy). The seller informed me that the original model of this clock had been discontinued. Ouch. Too bad.
Let's try to get the maker to start producing the ORIGINAL version again. Don't buy this clock until they do. (it's not very good anyway) Might as well just buy a picture frame clock (with one allowable message). Makes more sense, and is probably cheaper.

Years ago I had a recordable wall clock that had a different message at each hour recorded by the grandchild whose picture was beside that same hour. It was one of my favorite possessions. Through a series of mishaps, the clock needed to be replaced, and I was excited to find it available for only $33.94 including shipping and handling. NOT!!!! This clock records only ONE message that plays each and every hour. Very, very disappointing.

I love the recordable clock. However, I wish that the recording time were a little longer. It's a great idea and I love being able to put photos on the face of the clock!
