Nice notebook, bad label Jul 16, 2009

I like this notebook a lot, which is why I was willing to pay the $5.95 for it. It makes a great work diary. But, if I'm going to spend nearly six bucks on an 80 page notebook I expect that when I go to remove the large product label from the front cover it comes off cleanly. It took me 5 minutes and solvent get the blasted thing off. In fairness, it's hot this summer so maybe sitting in the UPS truck had something to do with it. Five stars for quality, 1 star for label hassle, 2 stars for price. You weigh what's important to you.

Good notebook size, would prefer more recycled paper or a better price. Feb 04, 2012

This notebook is a good size for those who need to be able to take some notes, but who aren't writing down everything a teacher says. So this is perfect for advanced students, business, etc., but not for younger students who need to take notes or who need larger paper for larger handwriting. I use this for graduate school and business and it is perfect for that. I also like that the metal rings are not much thicker than the pages themselves, which means it fits nicely in a bag or in a stack of books/papers on a desk.
I would like if this notebook was made of more recycled material (I usually buy 100% recycled notebooks), but couldn't find something at the spur of the moment in this size. Also, the price is quite high for what it is.

I like the size of this notebook. I usually buy another brand of the same size, but this Mead product is no where near the same quality. The vinyl cover is too flimsy to work from your lap, the ring binder is too small to hold a pen, and the label on the outside of the binder is impossible to remove. Will never buy this product again.

This is my favorite work notebook. The size is perfect - not too big nor too small for lots of writing, and the wirebound allows you to easily access either side for writing.The cover is durable and offers protection needed for heavy use. I will continue to buy these notebooks. Highly recommend.
