not as pictured Mar 16, 2008
By F. Snow OK, I liked the sugar bowl, but there is definitely no resemblance between the picture of the creamer and what you actually get! The picture shows a higher protruding spout, what you get is a spout that is lower than the top rim, it is pulled back into the jug with a 2 inch slit in front that dribbles all over no matter how you try to pour from it. Actually it looks like it has a hairlip... Since I didn't pay a fortune for it, I have decided to keep it to show friends how weird it looks.

Deformed Creamer Mar 04, 2008
By Judy Having seen this attractive Sugar and Creamer set in the stores, I was happy to find it at Amazon for a lower price. The set arrived well-packaged and in a timely manner. However the Creamer had an odd shape - its spout was deformed. I returned the set to Amazon for a refund since there was no assurance that a replacement set would not exhibit similar problems.
Quality control for some cookware and/or serveware sold at Amazon seems inadequate. If products sold are slightly flawed or seconds, Amazon should advise the customer.

Not molded correctly, poor quality control Aug 25, 2010
By sporty1401 First, I ordered this product from another online retailer(not Amazon). I had the same issues as noted in other reviews, the spout on the creamer is really not a spout. The glass itself is good quality, clear and matches my other Michelangelo items, but is not usable at all. The inverted or non-existent spout dribbles everywhere, even more so with thick cream than water. My sugar bowl lid also is a little too big for the bowl. The inner lip is significantly smaller than the bowl mouth, while the outer part of the lid extends further than one would expect. This combination makes for a lid that never quite sits right and always looks like its crooked. At least it can hold sugar though! I had even exchanged my creamer and got one slightly better(it didn't dribble as much), but still not as shown in pictures.
Compared to the quality and consistency in the rest of my Luigi Bormioli glassware, this is ridiculous. It makes me wonder if some other company makes it under their name. I have a couple styles of stemware and serveware and this is the only pieces I have had issues with. I recommend NOT TO BUY!

beautiful design, poor execution Jul 05, 2010
By Anna Reviews Stuff The design is simple but beautiful. However, there is debris in the glass - little black spots all over both pieces. I received this as a gift a while ago so I'll be donating these.
Works perfectly for me Jan 15, 2012
By Christina Walker Robichaud I am not sure what went wrong with other reviewers' products, but my set looks just like the picture and works just as it is supposed to. This set is used in an office setting, so any dribbles on the conference table or on clients' laps would not be permitted, so despite the negative reviews, I purchased this set and I've had no problems with it. At the time of the review, I have had the set for over 8 months.
