I am SO VERY HAPPY with this. Her room is fairly spacious so this, while a large size, fits in quite well and looks great with the other decorations (I got most of the Lambs and Ivy Luv Bug plumb set). Because they use a very fine wire and fine fishing line to hang the butterflies with, it doesn't look like it consumes a lot of room. It's actually rather whimsical. I just hung it up this afternoon and when my daughter saw it, she went nuts giggling, squealing, and flailing in delight. She actually got mad when I took her away from it to change her diaper! It looked too expensive at first and I wasn't sure it was worth it when I first ordered, but as soon as I saw that big toothless smile all those doubts vanished.
*The wire is delicate, so be gentle when taking it out of the box.
*The butterflies came pre-balanced on the wires and didn't require any adjusting.
*The knots used to tie the fishing line are in fact, fisherman's knots so don't worry one little bit about them falling off.
*The material is shimmery like satin and looks pretty in the light.
*It comes with everything you need to hang it: A drywall anchor, eyelet screw, and hook(which is already attached to the mobile)
*A couple light taps with your finger makes the butterflies "dance" sending them spinning and flitting around for the baby to watch- How nice.
*When pulling the front layer of wings forward for the 3-D look, be gentle. You can also adjust the wire on the back of the butterflies to angle them pretty much any direction. (I have mine facing more horizontal than the picture because I shaped them to give her the best view looking up at them)

Love this product. I hung this above my daughter's crib in place of a mobile. She enjoys watching it move when she lays in her crib at nap and bedtime. Great Product!!!

I added this item to my baby registry to put over our daughter's changing table. It is much bigger than I expected, but it looks great. I love the purple and green colors.

We purchased this for our daughter's room. The mobile looked really cheesy. She loves mobiles but this one didn't catch her attention. It looks cheap and tacky, like something you could build yourself with a few items from a craft store. I recommend getting one of the goki mobiles instead. We got the flying dragons mobile from goki and it is super cute. Our daughter loves it! Skip these butterflies and get a goki.

I didn't expect this item to hang so low. I had had wrap the strings around the bar and tape them because it hung so low you could only see the tops of the butterfiles, which are unfinished.
