 Great rug, just don't use it for education!! Jan 04, 2010

Bought this rug for my two year for Christmas and loves it to bits. It's the first thing he plays with each morning as he lines up all his matchbox cars in front of the post office, or the police station. I'm sure as he gets older he'll start using the actual roads and have even more fun with it as his imagination grows.
It was a little smaller than I thought it might be, but that adds a benefit that it doesn't take up the family room and is easy to store. It's a robust material and hasn't show any evidence of breaking up.
I have a couple of complaints and that explains the 4 star rating:
-the spelling of school (eskool) (even though the picture shows a correct spelling)
-even though the rug meets the dimensions mentioned, the actual print is cut off significantly from the image shown. I would say that you only get 65% of the total image shown in the picture on this product.

the quailty of this rug is good. In a bigger size I am sure it would be awsome, but due to the limited floor space we have in the family room, this was the only size that would not take up too much room. My 2 year old loves it and plays with it often, and that is the best review of all!!

This is a great small rug and my kids like to play on it. I'm not worried about it having it's fiber's pulled up. Seems to be very compact and sturdy.

It's really rude that people are giving this product a bad review over something that is listed RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEIR FACE. The rug is so cute. You get what you pay for. So if you want bigger, pay more.
I can't wait for our son to be able to play with his little race cars on this rug. It's really just a play rug for his room and I liked that it was small enough to take with us to people's houses.

I would recommend spending a few more dollars and buying something else for your child. This rug, although conceptually cute and educational, has a number of issues
1. 'school' is misspelled
2. all of the building names are fuzzy and difficult to read
3. the clarity of the entire rug (letters and pictures) is bad
