Okay, could be tougher Jun 12, 2007
By T. Sullivan I bought this kind of protector because they weren't selling the Prince Lionheart seat protector (I have been using one of those). I think the mats are okay, but the issue I have is that they are not very tough on the bottom, so when you're putting a heavy carseat on top of one in a car with leather seats, this protector won't protect your leather seats from being stretched by the car seat. The Prince Lionheart seat protector is really thick and tough on the bottom, so the contours of the car seat won't dig into your actual seat. These Kiddopotamus protectors are much softer, so they don't offer a lot of protection from stretching, although I'm sure they do fine for stains and such. All in all this product is well-made, but I would recommend it for cars with cloth upholstery and not leather. If you want something for leather, try the Prince Lionheart ones.

Not tall enough Sep 29, 2009
By bean The mat looks really nice, but it was not tall enough to cover the upper part of the toddler car seat from digging into my SUV's leather seat. The Sunshine Kids Ultra Mat worked much better, and completely protects the seat.

Definitely does the job May 05, 2007

I really like this item. It keeps itself in place on the seat and doesn't 'give' to the weight of the car seat somehow. Pockets are nice. Material is very durable and very easy to clean. Easy to install.

doesn't seem cheap May 11, 2007
By Jong Lee unlike a lot of other car seat protectors, this one looks clean and works well. a must for booster seats.

Not as good as I thought it would be... May 25, 2009
By YHWH4ever Just got this a few weeks ago and it's not as nice as I thought it would be. It does not go all the way to the top of the captain's chair of our Odyssey. There's probably a good 8 inches to the top. So, the picture of this is a little deceiving. With that being the case, my daughter's Britax Decathlon still leans against the seatback. I also thought it would have an elastic band to hold it to the seatback, but it doesn't so you have to hold it up while putting the carseat in, then straighten it out if it falls a little bit. It also bunches on the bottom when the carseat is strapped in tight. I guess not a big deal, but something to consider. So, if you looking at this, I'd go with the deluxe model. It may have more features that are better.
