Great product and style Aug 13, 2010

I chose this product because it was very stylish compared to the other one hole faucets by other brands. This faucet looks more expensive than it actually is. I've gotten many complements since I've remodeled my bathroom in which I've used these faucets for the double vanity sink. As another reviewer had said, this is easy to clean. All you need is a dry towel to wipe off the excess water and it'll be like new again. These one hole faucets are much more convenient to use than the 3 hole faucets. Overall, I really like this product and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

This is a well made and stylish faucet. I have the same design in a three hole style in one bath, this one in another and the kitchen faucet also. It is durable, and cleans up beautifully. No problems with any of them and they have been installed for almost a year now.

The best of the faucets we installed Aug 01, 2009

We chose faucets by styling and not so much brand. That wasn't the best decision. This Kohler model is great because the polished chrome cleans up nicely. It's easy to remove water spots with a cloth polish, but then I am the type to wipe around the sink after using it, so mineral deposits don't build up over time really. The simple lines of the design help to keep it clean as well. In terms of finish, brushed nickel has been my worst nightmare for keeping clean regardless of my immediately wiping up after use. I have yet to be successful in ever getting my fixtures to appear spotless from the first time I ever ran water through any of them. This faucet and our polished chrome fixtures from Moen have held up very well both in finish and function. The Price Pfister and Glacier brands have been nothing short of cheap from day one. Both brands in multiple fixtures have to be replaced after 3 yrs, even though they broke down in function within one year. We're just putting up with it until we decide to spend the money. We do not abuse our home, so it is very irritating to have to replace this sort of thing living in a brand new house. We hope our luck will be better if we return to Kohler and Moen. Good luck.

I purchased four of these faucets for an overhaul of my 2-1/2 baths in 2008. The design has an elegance that really stands out in each bathroom. Installation was a breeze mostly because Kohler does not skimp on quality. You'll pay a little more upfront but long term, you'll be glad you did.
Since the install in 2008, we've replaced all of our countertops. These faucets were an absolute breeze to remove and reinstall - even through thick granite. If this style fits what you're looking for, don't hesitate to buy.
Your best bet is to check a local big box store to make sure this fits your needs. Kohler is a brand you can rely on so buying from Amazon is a no-brainer.

I bought one of these from another vendor to replace a Delta that had worn out. This Kohler Fairfax has held up very well for several years of hard use by our 2 boys. I like the 2x rating, the high clearance the faucet has from our sink - the former unit would barely let us get our hands in the water to wash. The sink stopper feature on this unit seems a little skimpy, especially when I have to clean the stopper, but it has worked fine. I wish I could remember how long I've been using it - over 5 years for sure. Installation was easy. I liked it so much wanted to buy another but could not find a source for years, until I learned about Amazon (yeah I'm a fogy) . I was thrilled to find them on Amazon and bought another to install in our other bathroom. I haven't installed it, pending funds to redo the counter top etc. Oh and when I bought it here, shipping was super fast. Our water has quite a bit of iron, manganese, other mineral. We get sand now and then too since we have a home well. This faucet has not been bothered by any of those issues, works well and is easy to clean. I wish more fixtures were made the the heavy duty standards like this is.
