Oh-So-Delicate! Feb 25, 2006
By J. K. Peterson Great chopsticks and nice presentation, too. These are my "first" real chopsticks, and it took a little time to get used to them. (I had been using the restaurant chopsticks that are thicker and easier to use, somewhat like fat pencils are for first-graders) It took me a little longer to eat my meal, but that made it more enjoyable. They are lovely!

Don't buy them for the holder Mar 12, 2007
By J. Engel Perero Great as chopsticks, but I immediately threw-away the bamboo holders. The coloring did not match, and they looked super-cheap.

By M. Burns These are good bamboo chopsticks. One of them was warped though. They're very light. I think I might have preferred something with a little more 'grab'; these are laquered or something and have narrow tips, though that is sometimes useful in itself. I'm happy with them though.

Save Your Money Feb 11, 2011
By DivineMsC I wanted this product for a long time. It was one of my wish list items for months. When I finally decided to splurge and purchase this item (my wish list is loaded) I thought what an impressive accent piece this would be to my table setting. I waited with great anticipation for my chopsticks with their own holders to arrive. Then they arrived. I was so disappointed. The quality of the holders is awful. One of the holders was splintered at one end and the edges of both holders were unfinished. I decided to keep this item for personal use; however, they will never be used as part of a table setting. This is a great idea, that has been poorly implemented. If Joyce Chen is an actual person, I would advice her to do some quality control on the items that bear her name.

chop sticks Feb 10, 2010

After a year I still have these chopsticks and they are in great shape. We wash them in the dishwasher and have no problems. They are easy to eat with, and smooth to eat on as well. The holders are decorative and look great with a place setting on our table. Great chopsticks!
