The BEST baby soother for the buck bar none!!! Sep 22, 2009
By SavMowan My wife bought one of these on a clearance rack at Kohl's in Dec 08' for $19.99 it was great for our new born who we had been sleeping in his own crib from about 4-5 mos old. It helped to calm him with the variable sounds (about six sounds to choose from 3 lullabies 3 nature sounds). We kept ours on the Rain sound because it doubled as white noise muffling the sounds outside the room. And We would switch out the projection slides so that he would have different visuals to look at. We felt that all of this helped our baby sleep better. It worked great! We did notice the sound of the slides as they rotated in the projector but if you have the sound on you don't really hear it. I did notice that over time about 4 mos in of continuous nightly use the projector slides would stick/stop rotating. But all I did was give it a slight tap on the side and the projector would spin through the slides again, no big deal. Well about a month ago I was unplugging a humidifier which was sharing an extension cord and I yanked down the Baby Soother it broke into two large pieces some wires were disconnected and didn't work anymore. I We were bummed because Kohl's didn't have anymore in stock. Then my wife found one on here and although with shipping it cost $30 and some change it is such a great Soother that it was still well worth the price. We got it plugged it up and Works like a charm. It works better and has more options than baby soothers that are more than double the cost. I Recommend this product and would buy it again!

Awesome product when it works Jul 24, 2009

We got this as a gift before our son was born and have used it every night for 14-1/2 months, seriously! We loved it, raved to other parents-to-be, etc. Several months ago the projector part stopped spinning, started working again for a day or so and now is completely done (still projects a still image but doesn't spin). Every once in a while, the whole thing will just go out. If I monkey with it, unplug, etc. after a bit it will go back on but not very convenient to do in the dark when your baby is sleeping. I contacted the company and they said they would fix it if it was less than a year old, had a receipt and shipped it to them. Not the best way to stand behind your products. I love the entire concept and can't find anything else like it. I would love to purchase another one but don't want to spend my money with a company like that.

Best product ever!!! Aug 31, 2009

Out of every baby gift I got, this one was by far the best!!! Our baby would not sleep in his crib without being asleep first - UNTIL... we bought this. Now, you can just lay him in his crib and he will go right to sleep. I would recommend this to anybody!!

Love it! Apr 13, 2009
By C. Bergman This product is awesome! Adjustable volume for music/sounds (6 to choose from) and adjustable brightness for the projection, 3 different discs to choose from for the projected images, timer settings of 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes. The image projected is a circle 2-3ft in diameter and can be aimed at ceiling or wall. Unit has to be plugged in, but is small and takes up very little space. Projector makes a little noise as it spins the picture, but it's not noticeable if you use music/sound with the image. We bought this for our baby due in June, but my 2-year-old loves it, so we might buy another one.

Good product Oct 22, 2009
By Michael Bertelson Good product. The projector doesn't work well in lighted conditions, so don't expect to use it if your children need the lights on. The sound portion is nice, has some natural, soothing options such as rain, ocean waves, etc.
The only thing to be aware of is, that you should not leave the projector on all the time or for extended periods. Eventually the gears inside that move the picture disc will wear out and begin to get very noisy. Eventually it will stop all together. Use the timer to shut off the projector after you expect your baby to fall asleep.
