Quality w/ Ease of Assembly Oct 01, 2007
By Reviewer I just put this together over the weekend and I must say I could not be happier. I have assembled more than my share of "boxed" furniture and so often there are problems, but this cart is quality. The holes were drilled properly, the pieces were marked and they even supply an extra piece of hardware for every format used. Very considerate. The instructions make sense with one small caveat. Do not look at the hole marks on the illustrations as a guide for placement, as I did find one mistake on the back panel. Just know that all multiple holes will go inward. External holes also get plugged with nice finishing dowels. Upshot is, the piece is extremely strong, the wood is good quality, the drawers run smoothly and the stainless steel top is beautiful and is extremely heavy. This is not a flimsy piece. There's also butcher block top version, Solid Wood Top Kitchen Cart And Workcenter , which I just ordered a few minutes ago, being that I liked this unit so much.

A Kitchen Space Saver Sep 15, 2004
This cart was just what I needed. I only had 2 small drawers in my kitchen and not much storage or counter space. This fits nicely in my kitchen. I am able to have more counter for cutting food and making bake goods. Also, the shelves are great for easy access to pots and pans. I couldn't be happier. The casters also lock the island in place.

form meets function Oct 10, 2008

I bought this kitchen cart for my husband's birthday. It's not the most romantic gift, but it has really stood the test of time. It wasn't too difficult to assemble and--most important of all--it is super sturdy, with locking wheels, an attractive, durable stainless steel top, and plenty of extra storage space. It's the perfect size and height (at least for us). A real winner!

Great Value May 21, 2009
By M. Swanson A few basic points first. Assembly was straight forward and without issue. Extra items sent were not used, but appreciated. The openness look is great. The mobility is helpfull. Review: Great value for what we were looking for. Solid workmanship and the larger than standard drawers are being filled up with no issue. The openness of the design works out well and does not overwhelm visual space.

Pain Or No Pain To Assemble? Dec 06, 2008

My Wife and I took our time assembling the kitchen cart. We unpacked everything except the stainless steel top and laid out the pieces so we could see what we had and made sure all the pieces were there. I used the Allen wrench that came with the cart as well as a cordless screwdriver. I remembered to keep a beer handy. We followed the directions step by step reviewing each step twice before assembly. We had no trouble putting the cart together. Although the cart was made in Thailand, I found the overall quality to be worth the price (so far). It looks good in our kitchen and we moved our dishes and flatware to the shelves and drawers on the cart thus freeing up our meager cupboard space. We also ended up with more counter space. I think the cart was a good purchase and knowing what I know now...I would buy it again.
